LACOE is committed to increasing access to quality health care for low-income children and families in L.A. County through partnerships with state-certified provider agencies.
The Health Outreach Program (HOP) is funded by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health's Children’s Health Outreach Initiatives (CHOI).
All K-12 public schools and districts in the county may access health, vision and dental care, enrollment services from HOP partner agencies. Eligible children, students and families are enrolled in Medi-Cal, Kaiser Permanente Child Health Program (KPCHP), Child Health & Disability Prevention (CHDP) Program, Aid to Infants & Mothers (AIM), Covered California, My Health LA and other free/low cost or ability to pay health programs.
