LACOE provides both the required fiscal oversight for LACOE-authorized charter schools as well as a range of business services available to all charter schools in Los Angeles County.

BUSINESS SERVICES AVAILABLE TO ALL L.A. COUNTY CHARTER SCHOOLS

The Business Charter Schools Unit provides a range of business services for charter schools (both those authorized by LACOE and by other LEAs). Services inlude:

• funding disbursement
• CalSTRS and/or CalPERS retirement reporting
• financial system processing for budgets, procurement and accounts payable via BEST
• human resource system for payroll and benefits processing
• credentials certification services
