National Blue Ribbon Schools is the United States Department of Education’s award program honoring high-performing schools and schools that are making great strides in closing achievement gaps.
Nine of our L.A. County schools have been recognized as 2024 National Blue Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education.
Schools are recognized for their overall academic performance or their progress in closing opportunity gaps among student subgroups. These schools rank among the state's top performers, based on scores from all students, subgroup performance and graduation rates. Congratulations to these nine L.A. County schools:
