The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) GAIN Division, in partnership with LA County Supervisor Lindsay Horvath, and various community organizations, is hosting the 5th Annual Independence Day Hiring Spree.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Zev Yaroslavsky Family Support Center located at 7555 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91405.

Over 60 employers from a variety of industries will be in attendance, showcasing current job openings and many will be conducting interviews on-site. Local resource providers will also be available to assist job seekers with resume writing, interview skills, and other employment needs.

Job seekers are encouraged to:

• Dress for success

• Bring a positive attitude

• Have multiple copies of their resume readily available

• Bring documents such as ID or Driver’s License
