Engaging Girls in STEM

Engaging Girls in STEM is an event designed to present opportunities for young girls (6th-12th) to think about a STEM Career. Young females will have access to discuss what a career in STEM is like through our STEM Ambassadors.

STEM Ambassadors represent women in STEM industries (scientists, engineers, coders, architects, and more) who find it is important to encourage and inspire the next generation of innovators. The event also allows students to interact in activities with our partners and exhibitors that will push their thinking and build dreams of also entering a STEM field. This event highlights the partnerships between LACOE's STEM Unit and organizations throughout Los Angeles County.
